GROUP MODULES | TASKS
Group Tasks are a simple way to assign tasks to group members. Tasks are distributed via email and can be made visible to members in their My Convos To-Do list. Members can respond to tasks and mark them complete so group leaders can keep track of progress.
Creating Group Tasks
While you are in a group, select "Task" from the Group Item dropdown.
A blank Task will appear in the first tab of the viewer. If you wish to have a dedicated tab open for this Task, simply click the PIN icon located on the right side of the first tab.
With the blank task open in your viewer, you can give your task a name, you can assign it to everyone in the group (shows up in a member's My Convos) or just make it an overall task (only shows up in the Group Task Module) and select a due date and time.
Below these controls is an open text area where you can add details about the Group Task and control the formatting of what is displayed using the WYSIWYG editor at the bottom.
When you're ready to save your task, click "Save". Your new task will appear in your group's task module.
Where do I see Group Tasks?
In the Group
All tasks will appear in the group's task module and can be viewed by members.
NOTE: You'll notice that the Status column is blank. We're releasing a new feature to allow you to observe the percentage complete level of a task.
In MyConvos
Tasks that have been assigned to "Everyone" will also appear in each respective member's MyConvos To-Do list.

We're working on adding simple controls to Group Tasks that will allow you to do more with assigning tasks to group members and tracking the status of a task. When we release this, it will come standard with every group you create!
