START A GROUP | Overview
When you click the "Start a Group" button, a New Group pop-up will appear with the Over tab selected. In this tab, you will set up the basic information about your group including the Group Name, Group ID (email address and custom login URL), and an optional description.
Group Name
Your Group Name can be anything you like. We suggest keeping it short and simple so your member's can easily identify it in their My Groups list. This name can be changed at anytime.
Group Email Address / Group Login URL
Every Convos group has it's own email address and custom login URL. Your group email address allows you and your members to communicate with everyone in the group through one email address.
Your custom login URL allows you and your members to log into your own, group-branded version of the Convos interface.
Your group's email address must be unique and, once it is set, it cannot be changed.
Keep this in mind when you set up your group.
Group Description (optional)
With every Convos group, you have the option of including a brief description of your group. This description will be visible in the Convos Directory (if you allow your group to be listed there).
