GROUP MODULES | MEMBER DIRECTORY
A Group Member Directory is a simple way to publish a list of group members for a group. The group member directory displays a list of your members and, when selected, displays information that was provided in their Member Profile. A group Member Directory can be enabled and public for all group members or disabled to keep member profile data private.
Enable your Member Directory
To enable your group's Member Directory module, select your group and click "Settings" in the Group Administration panel located on the bottom of the left navigation panel.
When the Settings pop-up displays, click the "Appearance" tab. Click the "Enabled" button for the member directory. Next, select which fields you would like displayed when a member is selected. When you have finished, click "Save & Close".
Your group's Member Directory module will now be displayed in the Group Modules list in the left navigation panel. Anyone in the group can access this member directory when they visit the group.
If you select a member from the member directory, their profile information (as set by the group administrator) will be displayed in the Viewer.
By default, all group member's first name, last name, and Convos email address will be displayed when a member is selected.
If you wish to send this member a message directly, simply click the "Send Message" button.
Integration with My Convos and Group Invites
When a group has enabled a Member Directory, Convos makes it easy for members to contact with each other without having to visit a group's Member Directory.
If your group has enabled a group directory, your group members will be able to do the following:
- send personal messages to individual group members
- view their profile information in My Convos Contacts
- invite members to new groups that they set up

When you're sending a message from My Convos (using the Personal Items dropdown), you'll notice that each message has a "To" and "Cc" button.
If you click this button, you'll be presented with a pop-up listing your contacts, groups, and all members within your groups that have a member directory enabled.
This allows you to send messages to anyone that you interact with on Convos.
My Convos Contacts
In your Contacts module in My Convos, by default you will see a list of Contacts that you have added. When you select the dropdown on the top right of the list, you will also be able to select any group that has a member directory enabled.
When selected, a list of group members will be presented in the grid and, when you select a member, you can view their profile information as if you were viewing it from a the group's member directory.
Group Invites
When inviting members to a group, you have the option to select any of your Contacts. This includes any member from a group that has a member directory enabled.
To access these members, simply click the "From Contacts" option at the top left of the invite pop-up.
You will see a list of your groups that have a member directory enabled and can select one or multiple members across different groups.
