START A GROUP | GROUP WELCOME PAGE

 

Once you have created your group, you can access it from your My Groups list located on the top left of Convos. When you (or any of your members) select this group, the group modules will load and a default welcome page will be displayed in the right panel. 

The default Convos Welcome Page is shown in the screenshot below.

Customize the Group Welcome Page

As a group administrator, you have full control over what appears in the Group Welcome Page.  To customize this page, simply select the Group Welcome Page from the list of Pages in the middle panel. The default welcome page will display with WYSIWYG controls at the bottom (below)

You can update everything from name of the Page to the content, and with the WYSIWYG editor, you can are in control of the fonts, text sizes, colors, and alignment.

When you have finished editing the Group Welcome Page, click the "Save" button. Your customized group welcome page will now be displayed whenever a member accesses the group. 

 

Make any Page your Group's Welcome Page

You can also make any existing Page your Group Welcome Page. To do this, simply click "Settings" in the group administration panel. Next, click the tab titled "Appearance". You will see a dropdown box that allows you to select a different page to display as your group welcome page.
